Not much has been going on around here lately. It has been raining for the last 3 days and today it finally looks like we may have a full day of sunshine. It's really hard to keep the boys entertained when the weather is bad since they love to be outside so much. Especially now that Carter has a cast on, it's even harder. It really limits our options and makes for quite a few meltdowns! Carter is very frustrated by the fact that he only has one workable arm right now. Now, I'm pretty good at deciphering his toddler jargon, but I'm still not 100%. SO, should he need help with let's say, picking up a sippy cup, the world pretty much comes to a screeching halt complete with full throttle tantrum performed in true 2 year old fashion. The scary thing is he's still a few months away from the two-year mark. Yikes. Anyhow, we all definitely have cabin fever and I'm glad that we'll be getting out of town this weekend to visit my mom in Galveston. The boys have never been to the beach so it should be fun. Luckily, Carter has a waterproof cast so in case he decided to test the water he'll be ok. He's not fond of the water so that's pretty unlikely. Jackson, on the other hand, LOVES the water so I'm pretty excited to see his reaction.
Here's a few pictures. The first picture is of the boys on our front porch watching the rain. The others are just random pictures to show Carter's cast. The third picture is a pretty good example of his tantrum face. Lovely.
We signed Jackson up for T-Ball in the fall. The season starts in mid-September. Isn't that going to be so cute??? I don't care if he's any good. I just want to get cute pictures in his uniform!
Hope to come back from the weekend with fun pictures!
